August 4, 2019 - Much bigger than I expected. Firm tannin backbone with flavors of blueberry and cranberry. Nice nose redolant of cassis. Wish I had more.

December 10, 2018 - Consistent with previous notes. Needs about 1-2 hours to open up in the decanter but then you get deep plumbs, blackberries, black cherries, leather, and plenty of tobacco leaf. Simple, rustic, and authentic to place. Nice value. Drink 2019-2022. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score; 92.

June 30, 2018 - Consistent with previous notes. Drank out of a magnum. Brings an impressive concentration of red fruit set against black fruit and some herbal/green notes. Drink now - 2022. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 92.

March 31, 2018 - Nose - Fruit forward, blackberries, cherries
Palate - Still tannic and slightly bitter long into finish which tended to cover up fruit side of wine. 1 1/2 hours later still has that bitter component. Hope will open up after 24 hours. -
