March 15, 2014 - Had a good feeling that this would pair nicely with our coffee and ancho chile rubbed pork tenderloin and I was right. 30 minute decant in the glass and this opened up nicely to fresh black cherry along with hints of leather and coffee. Showed lots of complexity and finesse on the finish. An excellent QPR at $15. Would buy again.

January 28, 2012 - Very good. Enjoyed this as much as the 2008 vintage. Did not decant. Nice fruit, good tannins, a little spice/pepper, a hint of off-dry. Full-bodied, medium finish.
