November 23, 2014 - Beautiful Barolo, ready to go, but certainly no hurry.

September 14, 2014 - Mature, fully integrated, and perfectly balanced. Delicious. No need to wait any longer, this is ready to be enjoyed now.
March 15, 2014 - Rich, silky, and quite big. Still loaded with structure, with plenty of tannin and acid; struck me as fairly young and primary, suggesting that earlier drinking windows seriously underestimated this wine's longevity.

January 5, 2014 - Really beautiful. Ready for business, to be sure, but no rush either. Dark, rich, fruity, acidic neb profile. Juicy and long finish. It just hangs around in your mouth, not going anywhere. An amazing bottle.1 person found this helpful Comment

November 30, 2013 - Appearance: Clear, with light ruby color, with garnet rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, the nose shows medium intensity aromas of black fruit of black cherries and blackberry, dried fruit of prune, mineral notes of tar, maturity notes of mushroom, pungent spice of liquorice, floral notes of roses. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium, ripe and smooth tannin. Medium (+) alcohol and medium body, it has medium (+) intensity flavors of black fruit of blackberry and dark cherries, pungent spice of liquroice, maturity notes of mushroom, mineral notes of tar. The wine has a long finish.
Conclusion: Very good quality Barolo with a really long and evolving nose and palate, having changes throughout the dinner and even on the next day when I tasted the left-over from the night before, it has reasonably intense and complex nose, with robust structure and good concentration on the palate. The wine is in good balance so did not feel particular high despite its alcohol level, and having a very long finish. Should drink now and not intend for further ageing.
