    June 20, 2019 - Outstanding 21 year old wine.

October 19, 2018 - I was happily surprised this was still drinkable after 20 years but it was not my cup of tea, so to speak. Tasting notes were a bit vegetal with hints of sour strawberries and some boysenberry. We did finish the bottle and Barbera is a wonderful varietal but just not in this instance.

October 11, 2014 - Very acidic in nature though developing earthy tones over time.

March 5, 2006 - Dusky purple. Aroma of sour cherry shoe polish. Nice citrusy acidity, slightly overpowering the cherry fruit. Lingering acidic finish, with little flavor. Probably past its prime, although it worked well with dinner. B-.
