June 8, 2017 - Deep with a quiet intensity. Dark tones, black olives, and velvety fruit. Hint of sweet dates peeks and fades. Lovely with plush, inky earth. Benefits from an hour in the decanter.

June 5, 2017 - Powerful wine with some tanins left. With proper decanting, the wine is in a nice stage right now. Glad I have some more (and also the CndP and the Valbelle from the same vintage to compare).

May 25, 2017 - This is in a wonderful phase at the moment! The wine is not closed any more, as it still was for 2 years ago. Earthy tones, smoke, tobacco leave, ripe dark berries and dried fig on the nose and on the palate. This full-bodied wine is invigorated by the lively acidity, and the rich fruitiness has not yet faded at all. Bravo!

April 26, 2017 - Red, ripe fruit. Sweet soy, basil, candied herbs. Alcohol smells high but is balanced on the palate. Tannins are nicely integrated. Will age beautifully over the next few years. Easy drinking, food friendly wine.
