February 18, 2022 - This is now fully mature. Dark in the glass, modest nose, but very sweet and a nice mix of red fruit and tertiary flavours like plum and leather. Very nice, drink up in the next year.

March 13, 2021 - Smelled like iodine. Tasted fine until the finish when iodine taste appeared.

June 2, 2018 - This now is stsrting to be very good. Still dark in the glass, with no signs of age. Nice nose. The palate gives excellent and pure fruit. Tannins have softened, which gives the wine a very nice and long finish. Overall a slight Burgundian style of CdP.

October 29, 2017 - We started drinking this after finishing a 99 hermitage, which prooved to be a big hurdle for this one. Still dark purple in the glass, a moderate nose and with lots of cherry, spice and herbs on the palate. A bit hard/tight and tannic still, my recommendation to keep for 1-2 years longer.

November 25, 2016 - - It's balanced with a medium/full body with a medium finish - Excellent cdp. Decanted for 2 hours before consuming. Full bodied. The notes were well blended and even. Ending smoothed out from initial taste to after decant. Went well with thanksgiving turkey.
