March 9, 2024 - The Sampler. Pale garnet. Amazing aromatics, lots of lifted tar, rose, dried red cherry, loads of wet leaf/forest, darker tobacco notes, complex and complete. Gorgeous, enveloping palate. Resolved tannins, still with grip. Fresh, elegant with a driving concentration. Super savoury finish. Wonderful mature, elegant Barolo.

September 29, 2022 - Unfortunately it was clearly past its peak. There was some fruit and some oak and not horrible but a sugary vinegar aftertaste developing that I did not enjoy My home storage conditions are not ideal. Perhaps in a better environment it still might have more life left

April 16, 2022 - Dried berries, prunes, leather, tea and a whiff of soy. Very smooth, layered and long. Sweet spot drinking.

November 20, 2021 - May have passed its peak. Cinnamon, mint, tannins still smooth. But this wine is past its best days

November 19, 2021 - Beautiful. To my taste at peak now. Perfume like nose with a mix of cherries, rosehip, tea, and very mild spice. Palate is a beautiful combination of still present and vibrant sweet fruit, mostly represnted by cherries but also hints of raspberries mixed with tertiary aromas.
