September 24, 2023 - Medium ruby in appearence. Surprising color intensity for a Nebbiolo at age 16 +.
Evolved and pronounced aromas of rose petal, black fruits, violet baking spice and road tar. Very impressive.
Medium bodied on the palate with plenty of structure and acidity. Delicious medium plus to long and savory finish.
Drinking great now- no reason to hold further- but this will last another decade plus in a cold cellar. -

January 11, 2023 - Decanted, after aeration for two hours. Wine progressively opened up. Needed food to reduce the impact of the tannins. Wonderful expression of a Barolo. Great length. Fruit fully expressed tannins initially, harsh, but receded with time. This wine still has a decade ahead of it. Wish I had another bottle.

April 4, 2018 - Medium garnet in appearance.
Evolving and pronounces aromas of red fruit, violets, spice and toher floral notes. Nose not quite mature yet.
Medium plus body (suprising, given the color of the wine) with medium acidity and still plenty of firm tannins at age 11+.
Lots of similar flavor characteristics on the palate with some vanilla .
Medium plus finish. Overall an elegant style of Barolo, that could likely age "indefinitely" in a cold cellar. -

November 16, 2014 - Tasted at Wine Advocat event - A matter of taste. Medium garnet. Another very good Barolo. aromas of leather, tobacco, red fruit. Medium-light bodied, all about elegance. A real ballerina, dances on the palate.
