June 7, 2020 - Popped and poured. Didn't need the decant for youthfulness nor is it aged enough to warrant a sediment separation.
Wine is a dark, rich crimson. Not particularly bright. Almost opaque.
On nose, BH had it right - cherry cola, strawberries, baking spices.
On palate, wine is sound. Strong strawberries (wife: "this is like strawberry spa water"), rich, thick mouthfeel. Good acidity holds it up. Tannins are manageable. Clean finish.
Overall, this is a well made wine but not our cup of tea. Bet it goes great with barbecue! -

July 14, 2019 - Excellent SLH Pinot Noir, with dark berry and herbal notes, intense, but supple.
