July 16, 2017 - {cork, 13.5%, AP 021 12} Mid-straw-yellow. Right for age. Yellowish, slightly developed nose, but reticent; steeliness, vague yellow/citrus fruits. The palate is medium/full-bodied, with some rich steely, custard-like fruit; with just a hint of apple, no more. Medium/high acid, weighty and even on palate; is perhaps a touch one-dimensional right now, but still pretty impressive. Has a coolish mien. Needs more time to develop. Hefty effort., showing well, but 5 more years will help. Deserved a screwcap, I must say.
