March 10, 2014 - Bold, powerful nose of sour cherry and cream, with a note of dark chocolate. The nose is promising, but the cherry-flavoured palate is far too acidic to be enjoyable, even with food: it's stripping the enamel off my teeth.

August 30, 2013 - Tasted at 15 degrees.
The wine is affected by peanut and bell pepper notes that are a little bit strong (confirmed with a second bottle opened alongside). This is unfortunate as underneath those notes there is a quite pure and elegant blueberry and raspberry nose, however this is muzzled by the aforementioned aromas. Really silky attack and midpalate, medium-bodied, and medium and fine tannins carry the wine very well, acidity is in balance, good length. The texture is so clean, elegant and attractive - so much so that it is possible to overlook the peanut/bell pepper notes. Take these notes out and this wine is gold.
