August 9, 2015 - syrupy mouth feel, lots of dark fruit and a bit of earth and leather notes. Lack of complexity detracts slightly.

May 9, 2015 - slight syrup mouth feel. Lots of cherry and plum fruit. A bit of earth in the back end. lacks complexity in layering.

May 6, 2013 - Aroma and palate include lots of red fruit, baking spice, oak, licorice and leather. Also hints of mocha and tobacco on the nose. I think the fruit is dominating now, but could change as Mourvedre is known to open up later. At the moment, I don't get the typical earthy/gamey characteristics common to Mourvedre. Medium acidity, high (but smooth) tannins, medium body and long finish.
