February 16, 2012 - A deep garnet wine with little legs. Strong scent of green herbaceous aroma, plum, blackcurrant and red cherries with notes of spices (cloves). Sweet on contact, light bodied & weight. A little refreshing for a red wine that has medium low tannins. Balances out to be an overall "easy drink" but lacks complexity & sophistication to be a top-of-the-line wine. Quick spicy finish, not one for heavy red meats but good for seafood and salads. A good wine for its value.
