September 7, 2019 - Broken Wings and New Things (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light gold cclor. Drank a glass plus over 30 minutes. This bottle was back on point. Lots of minerality on the nose, citrus, lemon, and quince. The palate is medium plus bodied, fleshy citrus, lemon, citrus pulp, a mix of wet stones and chalk, apple peel, with quince spice. This was in a very nice spot, good lift and length. 93+pts.

July 30, 2019 - Champagne and Sushi (Nakamori): Consistent with previous notes. To me, this represents one of the best values in Champagne. 91-92.

September 30, 2018 - Wine Dinner featuring Paella (Margaux's Table, White Bear Lake): Nice Champagne with chalk, spices, sour apple and a touch of lemon. Medium finish and balanced. This is at peak performance so I would consume these sooner than later.

September 30, 2018 - Paella (Margaux's Table): Positives: Nose is yeasty and toastry. THe palate is very citrusy with some crisp apple and green mango.

Negatives: The palate seems less concentrated and the finish is short. As I noted before, there is almost a carbonated feel to this champagne.

The positives well outweigh the negatives, but they prevent this wine from being stellar.
