February 8, 2019 - Very low acid and rich body. Strong soy sauce character along with some earth. Tasted during a pinot event. Interesting wine but not my style.

April 2, 2014 - This was served too warm at the winery. It's made in a somewhat reserved style, it tastes fine but is somewhat flabby. 86-87.

November 8, 2013 - Popped and tasted over 2 hours before I gave up. Shimmering dark ruby color, 60% saturated, light and clear legs. Very reserved nose of sage brush, currant, some azalea. Light body, thin and watery, low acidity, and no tannins to speak of. Somewhat vapid until a rush of alcohol carries some actual Pinot typicity into the hot finish. So little flavor, it contradicts the dark appearance. Not flawed, just lacking a lot in terms of intensity and fruit character. 4+7+12+5 = 78

June 22, 2012 - Tasting room visit. Aromas of smoky earth with fig and cherry fruit. Silky rich and forward palate with delicate floral notes and spicy depth on the finish.
