December 25, 2019 - I purchased this bottle direct from the winery in 2005. Under well controlled cellaring conditions, the wine was bright and amazing. Still a 95!

November 20, 2010 - This was one of the best wines that we have ever shared. We had it shipped from Italy in 2005. Can't imagine how good it will be in about 4 more years. The smoothness, the color, the complexity. The balance of flavors was indescribable with a long finish. It retained its qualities throughout a 2 hour dinner. It a great Brunello is not the king of Italian wines, it certainly is the crown prince. It was most certainly worth waiting for.
