November 24, 2022 - A lovely chardonnay, drinking well. Two more bottles that I will consume within the next year.

April 8, 2022 - Our last bottle and one of the best examples. Deep straw yellow color, clearly has some age but this didn’t quite quite as dark as previous bottles. We caught this bottle at peak. Opens with tropical fruit- banana and coconut- to go along with fig, pear and nectarine. The tropical fruit tones follow through on the palate, with a good bit of oaky vanillin and toasted marshmallow. Excellent length.

October 15, 2021 - Deep color. Apple and brown butter qualities, this is a touch more advanced than I would typically care for. Pear and lemon curd notes with air. 88-89 pts.

September 6, 2021 - Deep gold color. Small glass, from magnum. Brief note; vivid and mature, oily, pear cream, lemon oil, vanilla custard, rich and full bodied, honeyed, layered and well aged and in good shape from mag, complex and alluring.

August 28, 2021 - Wine Group Picnic at Steve's: PnP from Mag - My first Peter Michael Chardonnay, and different from my expectations. I expected it would be a big, rich, buttery oaky chardonnay, and it was far from it. Not a good or bad thing, just different! The nose was dominated by white flowers and some lemon notes. This wine was well integrated with lots of citrus and pear notes, and showed quite a bit of minerality. A very nice wine, and worthy of its reputation! 93+ for my palate.
