April 13, 2015 - Restrained nose (or maybe it's my nose that's still slightly restrained by the aftereffects of a cold) of citrus and a suggestion of walnuts. On the palate it picks up apple notes and has pleasing contrasts: round and a bit creamy, yet with bracing acidity and some minerality. This is a very good value and will make a fine summer sipper. I was afraid it would be over the hill, but it seems to have the stuffing to be good for at least another 18 months. No need to wait, however.

April 13, 2014 - Nose: oily, a chemical smell Palate: rum/butterscotch, subtle, pleasing, a very nice low key white wine.
