  March 14, 2013 - Grüner Veltliner (Chapitre 20, Paris 4e, France): Nous montons ici à 13,5%/vol, le profil aromatique penche vers le fruit jaune mûr, avec un côté fumé qu'on pourrait appeler minéral par ailleurs. Il est corsé et appelle la table. A attendre.

  June 25, 2012 - 2010 FX Pichler fest (Sun Wah BBQ, Chicago IL): nose: loads of lychees on the nose strike right off the bat along with tones of spices, snap peas, white fruits and tropical citrus tones. Good depth with the citrus tones dominating.
  
  taste: real nice and delicious medium feel that has a real fatness to it on the mid-palate. Good structure with medium/high acidity that is noticeable and fat tones of lychees, spice tones, snap peas and white fruits.
  
  overall: This is really delicious right now. It probably could/should have some nap time, but it's a real quality gruner at the moment with a real delicious factor to it.

  June 25, 2012 - 2010 Pichler Fest (Sun Wah BBQ - Chicago, IL): Decanted for 13 hours prior to serving. Loved the floral notes on this wine - while the florals gave it the facade of a feminine delicate wine, the firm peppery belly makes you take notice. Mouthfeel is super silky here, but the flavor is cranked up to an 11. Loads of melon, pear, and white pepper throughout.
