November 26, 2018 - I tried this along side a few 2000 Bordeaux. Drinking well. Rich texture with plenty of red and black berries. Some earthiness on the finish. Solid but approachable tannins. 92 points.

November 23, 2018 - Dinner with Friends: Various 2000s: Courtesy of R&D, recently acquired from the winery, this provided a nice contrast to the line up dominated by old world reds. Nice red berry and currant fruit. Flavors of red plum and currants. Balanced; integrated tannins, medium+ finish.

April 25, 2013 - Still a good bottle, it has held up very well. Color still dark with just a slight hint of age. Wood notes, cedar and oak, and dark fruit on the nose. Opened up nicely after 1/2 hour. Strong black cherry, light pepper, long finish. Balanced. Very nice.
