August 9, 2022 - Intense blackcurrant, hints of mint, dried chillies and salty Chinese pickles on the nose. Intriguing profile for the Bin 707. Palate echoed the nose, with some spicy and savoury notes. Full-bodied. Tannins are still quite firm for now in the finish. Decant for at least 2 hours if you are drinking now. Otherwise, let this continue to age for another 3 years for the elements to integrate better.

January 1, 2022 - Nice wine. Unfortunately after a Petrus and a Haut Brion, this wine did not impress. Dark purple in colour. Big fruit on palate and nose. Distinctly new world. Will try again with a different pairing and different dinner.
