February 21, 2014 - :-D 195 NOK. Forsmak i Zalto Bx.

December 16, 2013 - Weekly tasting group #099; South Italy (@ BD): In the bouquet overripe red fruits. On the palate round and juicy red fruits and cherries. A lush wine with a lot of sweetness, but lacking refinement and complexity.

October 20, 2013 - A DOC blend of 60% Nero D'Avola and 40% Frappato. It tastes like it could be a Gamay or Beaujolais. The color is clear, bright medium ruby. The nose is clean, with aromas of juicy strawberry, raspberry, sour currant and some candied vanilla. The nose is medium (+) in intensity. The palate is dry, with sour red fruit and sweet spice. The flavor intensity is medium. The bubble-gum and pez candy finish is reminiscent of Beaujolais. Drink now, not intended for ageing. An interesting wine to say the least.

October 13, 2013 - Light, fruit driven, probably should have cooled it off a bit before drinking (next time I will); blend of Nero d’Avola and Frappato

July 1, 2013 - Almost Pinot Noir like visual intensity. Very strong light red berries ( raspberries and strawberries) on the nose. Some vanilla, olive and toastiness. High acidity at stood up to Puttanesca. Good southern Italian food friendly wine.
