April 4, 2016 - This bottle is still kicking' with about 30 min of breathing time. This bottle rocked with a vanilla/caramel bread pudding. Pretty pale salmon colored wine that has a a soft yeasty, minerality with subtle strawberry fruit. Soft acid at the finish that still gives this wine structure.

April 20, 2013 - My first Bonny Doon and a pleasurable one at that. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I enjoyed my experience with this wine, nonetheless. Three things stuck out, a finish that graced a range of bready, yeasty creaminess, sharp, piquant minerals, and a lovely balancing bitterness. The initial perception was of flabby sweetness, but the finish was graceful, alluring, and complex.

March 9, 2013 - Saturday Tasting at The Gourmet Shop Columbia, SC 3/9/2013 (The Gourmet Shop, Columbia, SC): Light and lovely. Just a refreshing mouth full of soft red fruit leaning toward mostly strawberry. Very much like a rose from Provence. Has a fruit first style. Very balanced, not overly acidic. Rich salmon like color. Strawberry nose with some floral components. Lip smacking red fruit with a nice taste of watermelon that lingers on to a clean finish.

December 17, 2012 - Pretty salmon pink color with citrus, red fruit, and mineral aromas. On the palate, it's medium bodied and fruity with good balance and acidity followed by cherry, strawberry, and citrus flavors. Medium-long finish. Blend of 73% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 8% Grenache Blanc, 5% Roussanne, 4% Cinsault

December 13, 2012 - Such a beautiful rose; the most vivid that I've tasted that elusive "strawberry coulis" so often noted. Vivacious (and incredibly French) minerality.
