  February 8, 2013 - Popped and poured; consumed over three hours. Ruby color in the glass. Aromas of fresh cherry(?) and rock dust on the bouquet. Nice balance of fruit and acid...a bit of a sour cherry thing going on and more of the crushed rock character. Light on it's feet but never coming across thin...definitely gaining some weight with time in the glass. I loved the mineral element going on. This paired wonderfully with our meal which consisted of beef tenderloin, pumpkin stuffed ravioli with truffle oil and marinated and grilled mixed vegetables.

  March 28, 2012 - Deep ruby red purple. Clear, but color clings to the glass. Slightly patent leathery nose of purple fruit with a hint of herby white flowers. Palate echoes the nose, but a bit more fruit-forward than even the nose suggests. Medium light body and just enough tannic grip to be interesting. Not a long- termer, but the next year or two will be nice.
