March 15, 2012 - Impressive effort for the vintage, with lovely deep garnet color fading to a watery rim. Aromas are of fresh herbs and dusty cherry, with suggestions of button mushrooms and glove leather. On the palate, there are layers of cool cherry fruit, lightly spiced and dusted with herbs. Finishes with a cherry cola echo, all cleaned up by bright and lively acidity.
