December 26, 2023 - Aperto a temperatura cantina e bevuto nel corso di un’ora. Rosso rubino con riflessi violacei. Al naso confettura di amarene e cacao su un fondo speziato e balsamico. In bocca e pieno e a questa temperatura non si avverte la grande alcolicità malgrado l’acidità non molto marcata. Finale discretamente lungo.

August 26, 2016 - Popped and poured. Quite difficult to drink now and personally my palate has moved away from big, bold, over ripe syrupy fruit wines like this one. Tried to pair with BBQ rib eyes but the 16.5 avg and the lack of freshness made it impossible to drink.

February 25, 2015 - Fait à 100 % de Primitivo. Robe pourpre opaque. Nez de fruits noirs, terre humide et boite à tabac. Attaque qui montre sa masse sans toutefois tomber dans la lourdeur (le vin tire a plus de 16 % d’alcool). Une texture suave malgré une matière tannique imposante. Les notes de mures, cerise, olive noire et chêne dominent sur une finale d’une grande longueur.
