May 12, 2017 - Weekend in London; 5/12/2017-5/13/2017 (Ledbury, Il Baretto, Hedonsim): By the glass at the Ledbury. Decent acidity. Lots of almost a wildflower honey in the background. Really enjoyed it. Was great with the scallop especially. The acidity also cut the fat in the egg. Very tasty.

2012 Austrian Catalog, 6/1/2012 (link)(Schloss Gobelsburg Grüner Veltliner "Gobelsburger") ($16.00) Following the astonishing 2010 won’t be easy. But this is true to type, i.e., boxwood and nettle, polished and silky, irises all over the place; lovely, amazingly classy and even complex for its price. It’s no exaggeration to call this one of the world’s best wine values.
