July 28, 2015 - Dark fruited and peppery, with the gamay really showing. Fresh palate.

December 16, 2012 - A delightful, simple wine. The flavors are textbook Loire Cab. Franc which is to say it tastes exactly as it should coming from Valencay. The flavors and texture are in balance. It is very pleasant to drink now and should remain so for a few years. Unpretentious excellence.

July 26, 2012 - Violet color; kaleidoscopic nose and palate that im struggling to describe. Overall its almost more barbera than anything from the Loire. Medium-light weight but with some fine grain tannins, and not much finish. Ready for this? 40% gamay, 30% malbec, 20% cab franc, and 10% pinot noir. I can pick up on the gamay, malbec and cab franc most prominently, the pinot is lost with the gamay for the most part. Interesting (crazy), fun wine!
