December 5, 2016 - Weekly tasting group RWP #238: Wines with a poem (@ DJ): In the bouquet dark berry fruits, chocolate, herbs and vanilla. On the palate dark berries, cherries and chocolate as well, herbs, cassis, oak and some pleasant signs of development. Drink naw or within the next 3+ years. Nice and mature wine.

January 2, 2016 - Decanted for about 30 minutes. Oak was still very forward and present. After about another 20 minutes in the glass the oak integrated and the wine became incredibly good rather than just really good.
