July 31, 2015 - Says 13.4abv but drinks much more full and expressive, with big citrusy acidity and tons of fruit. Says right on the label: "aroma: red plum, forest floor, oolong tea" and: "flavor: pomegranate, blood orange, dried porcini" and their descriptors are right on the mark with nice floral and cola character also. Though it was too ripe and exotic for others at the table with lighter preferences, I appreciate this style and thought it had wonderful clarity, sexy smooth texture, depth, length, and balance. Benefits a little from a short decant but it’s not imperative.

Second day: no joke, It tastes like a Cinnamon roll and a glass of OJ. Breakfast, anyone?

August 3, 2013 - Fine, bold Pinot Noir with typical strawberry aromas and spicy, black raspberry flavors.

June 18, 2013 - 13.9% Dark purple. Expressive aromas and flavors of black cherry fruit with minerals, savory spice, and an herbal note. Mouth filling with bright acidity and a slightly clenching finish. This is a bit aggressive. This will be better if it settles down. The fruit is from Klindt Vineyard.

March 3, 2013 - Had at Charleston Food and Wine paired with Lamb chop and lamb sausage.

Bright and light. Nice balance between fruit and acid. Good wine
