February 5, 2019 - Cote Rotie 1973 - 2009: Stalks and green as well as brett on the nose. Lovely harmonic balanse, nothing sticks out, resolved and stands it ground next to Jamet of the same vintage.

February 25, 2018 - Robe violet dense;
Nez austère, rustique, sauvage, fruité en retrait. Aspect rocailleux & terre rocheuse très présent. Les fleurs sont présentent, légèrement poivré, olives noires apportent une belle dimension. Nez intéressant.
Bouche sévère, austère, tout aussi sauvage que le nez. Fruité tout aussi en retrait, on est dans un registre terreux & rocheux du début jusqu'à la finale. Finale astringente, asséchante, l'acidité vient aller la matière qui est dense. Belle bouteille, pas facile à apprécier au départ mais qui apporte de belles récompenses quand on s'y attarde. Bref, une Côte-Rôtie sans maquillage, d'un style épuré & sauvage que j'ai bien apprécié! -
