July 28, 2023 - Decanted for an hour, back into cleaned bottle. First bottle in 2 years and it showed well. Cherries, red and black berries, a little spice, leather and dusty tannins. Medium bodied and well balanced, if I could find more of this with good provenience I'd buy some. Food wine.

August 28, 2021 - Decanted for 2 hours, back into cleaned bottle for serving with grilled beef. Very solid cali cab from a great year. Notes of cherry, plum, dark berries, cranberries and a little oak. Medium bodied with still resolving tannins and a bit of dust on the finish. Nice representation of Cab Sauv, with time to improve still. 92+

December 25, 2020 - Magnificent! Was hesitant to open for Christmas dinner with Prime Rib & bread pudding but it was incredible. Plums and tobacco on the nose. Full bodied and rich with front to back palate coverage. Flavors of plum, boysenberry and hints of black currants. Muted tannins made this silky smooth to drink and enjoy. MIGHT go a little longer.

September 27, 2019 - Excellent, 14.9% alc. Superb powerful wine with years left. Seems to be peaking given trend of other comments.
Colour: deep black berry and cherry, slightly dusty
Bouquet: dusty mint, rich blackberry, vanilla oak,
Palate: as bouquet, mint and eucalyptus, ripe plums, liquorice, savoury, huge but soft tannins, very dry puckish long finish.
