September 23, 2023 - Maybe just a touch past peak but delicious nonetheless , with ample red fruit and some muted spice, no edges. Lacked a touch of that minerality I recall from prior bottles.

July 9, 2020 - Still has red fruit and tannins on back tongue. Slight mineral on the back end. Muted nose and probably should have drank already. Better on second day. This tastes like a Burgundy wine.

July 1, 2016 - Garnet in color. Somewhat muted nose of dark, orange-y red fruits, maybe some wet leaves and forest notes. Nice, soft texture on the palate. Little acid on the front of the palate, but some nicer acid on the mid and at the end. Orange-y, slightly tannic cherries on the palate. Muted. Overall, not as good as I was hoping for.

February 17, 2015 - Ruby in color. Powerful nose of cherry, cola and a bit of caramel. Classic cherry and cola flavors, notes of strawberry, creme brûlée and violet also merge. Great balance with a silky texture and long finish. Excellent.

March 1, 2014 - this one surprised me. very sweet. tons of cola notes here. acidity was more muted and so it came across as very sweet with not enough balance. its very light in color so its not one of those syrah like pinots. but it lacked acidity to balance it out. i dont recall prior peay bottles similar to this. odd
