March 15, 2023 - Cork crumbled. Inky deep ruby violett. Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, roasted meat, tobacco, licorice, leather. Wine if full bodied, deep, intense with medium+ acidity, light residual swetnes, soft, silky tannins. Taste of sweet black cherries, blackberries, hint of chocolate. Long and powerfull.

December 27, 2019 - While my rating for this Malbec hasn’t changed in six years, do want to share how it has changed in the bottle from being a full throttled intense Malbec to a more nuanced, equally delicious wine that is a bit softer with its tannins and more secondary flavors with the dark, blackberry fruit such as cocoa, lavender and some dark chocolate.

December 2, 2013 - Dark, dense, blackberry fruit that is chewy and rich at the same time. This Malbec is not shy...this is a powerful, structured wine that attacks the taste buds. While this style will not be for everyone, I absolutely love the taste, finish and nose. Must decant for an hour or two to allow the wine to express itself.

August 9, 2011 - Purple. Violet and lilac floral elements with black fruits and was showing quite juicy with ample acidity. Also actually had a nice amount of minerality on the finish. Pure flavors and very clean. Classy bottling! Well done.
