April 14, 2013 - Pleasant enough, but not a lot of depth. Candied cherry in the nose, accented with quite a bit of barrel character (toast, leather, cinnamon). Moderately sweet up front, further emphasizing the candied cherry character, but there's enough acidity to balance it out. Finish fades quickly. Essentially a table Pinot. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it would be nice to have a little more going on.
