February 27, 2014 - Clear medium-low intensity golden with amber reflections for this reserve Sauternes.
The nose is medium intense and complex. Bouquet opens with pineapple, honey and some peach followed by notes of citrus and pear plus the typical botrytis ethereal.
The palate confirms the pineapple and honey. Sweet with medium-high acidity to balance it.
Medium body with good persistence.
A solid 86 points.

June 29, 2013 - Had this wine at a dinner at Swa Garden Restaurant.
Drank it alongside the 2006 Château Lafon-Rochet and 2006 Château Rousselle.
A very young Sauternes, this label is not found in Singapore. A friend brought it back from Paris.
Notes of honey and floral essence on the nose. On the palate it is smooth and fruity. No complexity to be found in this wine. Some sweet nectar and pears to balance the alcohol.
Overall a very drinkable wine. -
