  December 20, 2014 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. lacking recent feedback, i was concerned about the longevity of this bottle. fears proved to be unwarranted. the wine continues to be in a good place. we don't drink a lot of syrah but this is a good one. i agree with comments of the winemaker and other CT members who have enjoyed this wine. firing on all cylinders. the wine shows focused berry fruit, some remaining bright acidity, intense color and silky tannins. even though this producer is best known for his pinot, this wine demonstrates the versatility of the winemaker.

  June 14, 2006 - Outstanding display of fruit with a powerful nose. As it breathed the fruit faded a bit but the tannins are already integrated and it just drank beautifully.
