June 21, 2021 - This mature reserve Cab still drank very well! The wine & fruits came alive after decanting for 3+ hours. Faded garnet coloring, but no browning was detected around the edges after removing the cork. The fruits were tasty & nicely balanced by fading tannins. Very little acidity contributed to a delicate and soft finish.

January 14, 2017 - Opened up the 6 liter on Friday, strong cellar notes with musty, deep flavor. Bouquet and flavor blossomed over two days to be delightfully fruity and full bodied. Could have aged for a while longer. Wonderful

November 14, 2015 - Old Cabernet scents of smoke, coffee grounds, old oak, some caramel. Not much fruit, but not much tannin either, and enough acid to give lift. Perfectly acceptable but a bit of a let down after a stunning '80 recently tasted.
