October 21, 2023 - 40th anniversary tasting (L'Esprit du Vin - Axelborg): My notes from this fantastic gigantic tasting are in general extremely short (because of the many wines) but with ratings. We spent a whole day tasting and tasting quality wines.
This wine: tasted 2017, 2016, 2011:
- 2017: 93 The best of them, savoury style, cassis, long finish.
- 2016: 92. Closed at the moment.
- 2011: 92+. Clearly green bell pepper, cassis, high tannins. -

April 20, 2023 - Tasted twice over the last year, with consistent notes. The wonderfully floral nose is my favourite part of this wine, everything you want from Margaux. The palate is soft and thoroughly enjoyable. Very good for a 2011.

September 25, 2022 - Ripe, almost lush Bordeaux. Strawberry and cherry notes fill the palate, with a touch of cocoa. Bright acidity and tannins that are exceedingly mellow. I think that will benefit from another few years in bottle.

June 15, 2022 - Unsurprisingly sophisticated. Fresh, a bit tight, but quite drinkable now. Reflects the unusual 2011 vintage that ended up producing solid classic if early drinking claret.
