In the mouth it's soft, waxy textured, non-intrusive alcohol warmth, melon over pear and a little spiced honey. There is the tiniest smidge of bitterness on the end of the finish but this is exceedingly nice.

  January 10, 2020 - Very smooth, notes of pear and bioche. Could sense that it had faded a bit, but still very enjoyable. Drink now if possible, certainly not getting better.

  September 7, 2018 - White figs and honey with a spoonful of apricot compote and a dollop of cream on the nose. In the mouth it's more of the same with a waxy texture and a little bitterness to the finish. Arguably a little lacking in acidity but perfectly lovely when adequately chilled and served up with cold roast chicken.
