March 7, 2018 - Tight when first opened, but after receiving some air in the bottle over the course of a couple of hours, it blossomed. Fruit character was beginning to turn to dried/dessicated and the earthy, volcanic soil was showing in an ashy component on the palate. Still so much life left, so hold on!

June 5, 2015 - Wonderful from nose to finish. Still has some punch and got better with each pour. Nice anise and fruit notes. Little bricking suggests more age to this wine than CT shows

April 20, 2013 - Cork broke so be careful with this one but once we got it strained it drank better than wines we have had at twice the price. Wonderful fruit, big and bold and a perfect paring with our filets tonight. Finished it off with a piece of chocolate. Perfect!
