January 22, 2023 - Decadent, but past its prime time. Mellow and sweet nose. Overripe, dried fruits: dates, apricot, cherries. Attractive texture. Deep sweet finish.Still a lot of power left but I recommend to not keeping it too long: drink up!

June 1, 2021 - Very deep opaque aubergine color. Interesting nose of fresh cherries and bacon - so different but pleasurable. On the palate lots of dark fruit, again dried cherries but with notes of graphite. I was expecting a fruit bomb but this has integrated the fruit so nicely with age. Extremely long finish. I’m very impressed with this wine.

November 5, 2016 - Trotz fortgeschrittenem Alter tolle Frucht und tiefrote Farbe. Allerdings auch viel Depot. Ein großer Wein!
