February 11, 2016 - One of those wines where the last bottle tells you that you have drunk the others too soon .
Sweet fruit but real woodland notes and fleshing out a bit . Lovely stuff. -

November 6, 2014 - This is wonderful, especially for Burgundy at this price point. Much better than what i recall from previous three bottles.
Wonderfully fragrant, floral yet intense. Fresh, fruity. Lot's of Fs! :)
This seems rich and almost New World like yet very Burgundy. What has happened here? I would not have guessed 2007 or even village level. I would probably have guessed a 2002 1er Cru, possibly even a good Vosne?! Maybe I'm just having a very good day!
... I was only planning on half a bottle with Thursday evening dinner but so enjoyable I had to finish it off! I've figured out now that is it just very balanced, between fruit, oak, lightness that you expect in Burgundy especially 2007 yet a richness and intensity you like in New World, without being heavy. Absolutely à point. -

April 24, 2014 - Looks strikingly mature at the rim .Likeable cherry bouquet but notes of sous bois - not particularly long but a sound Cotes de Nuit Villages.

August 2, 2013 - Popped and poured and drank over 45 mins with chicken with tomato & herb and later cheese (brie and cheddar). Went well with both. Cherry, floral. Not given enough air for earthy flavours to develop as before. Good value in a Burgundy context.
Following day (inert gas, fridge): this has lost its fruit and delicacy and is almost cooked or oxidised - hasn't kept well. The acidity also seems quite low. However this could be because I am drinking it following a very high-acidity and fresh 2010 white Burgundy - which is probably making this one-day old pinot noir taste much less fresh than expected. A little later with air and at a higher temperature (18C) there are some remnants of pinot noir. However this doesn't seem to keep well after opening. An excuse to drink the whole bottle next time! -

June 22, 2013 - Very pale, very strawberry on the nose and palate. Somewhat astringent finish. Blind I would have guessed Beaujolais. Hmmm. Not convinced.
