January 27, 2006 - Clear ruby core of moderate intensity with a wide light red rim and thin watery edge. Legs of medium viscosity with regular spacing.
Clean moderate nose of vanilla and cherries. A little earthiness follows with a touch of bitter almond. Light candyfloss on a second level. Very youthful nose of red fruit and light oak.
Dry wine with an initial hit of hard tannins. Moderate weight on the palate with a moderate+ acidity that adds a bit of freshness to the short cherry finish. Moderate alcohol but does have a very slight alcohol burn on the finish.
Good quality - drink now -

October 30, 2005 - Medium ruby, cherry rim; sweet red fruit, hint of spice, nice depth; on the palate tight, cherry fruit, like a Beaujolais.
