September 22, 2017 - Medium garnet color. Light floral nose. A great example of why we let wines age. This was popped and poured and demonstrated a very nice "roundness" that earlier experiences with younger bottles did not have. Nicely balanced with flavors of cola, ripe cherry and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Nothing too complex but a wonderful accompaniment to sharp cheddar and spicy pimiento cheeses.
