October 22, 2021 - Quite the surprise! Corpulently deep red, Just the right amount of rusticity, and a 2005 seriousness that elevates this far above its Appellation. Dark and mid cherry notes with medium deep moist earth, a deft hand, and some smokey lingering notes . Ready now and can use a 15-30 min decant.

October 27, 2019 - Still a primary and dark fruited burgundy but its components are definitely coming together with age as a balanced wine. It has a very Gevrey-like profile and has improved quite a bit over the last year. The score is probably on the conservative side.
