December 31, 2023 - Solid assemblage from the Piedmont by Gaja (obviously far from a pure Nebbiolo) mixing well with a Fondue Chinois. Drinking Window for at least another two or three years and we just PnP.

May 10, 2021 - One year after the last bottle we enjoyed this vintage on a sunny and hot BBQ weekend.
Very good price-quality ratio, mature if not very mature (drink/enjoy now!), consistent quality. Tertiary notes a bit more prominent than last time - predominantly leather has developed to the good.
Still, having had the opportunity to learn how a high-end Nebbiolo can develop and become a great wine, the Sito Moresco is good, but that's it - a good companion for a family BBQ.

January 31, 2021 - Bought after tasting a range of Armit wines - mid depth of colour with no age. Nose closed initially then opened to reveal woody, smokey notes with red berries. A long nuanced palate with more black fruit, autumnal scents with softly gripping tannins and a slight austere end, perfect with food but able to finished on its own with pleasure

January 30, 2021 - Clearly this has quality but not necessarily a wine in my taste. Too heavy on the oak and too litle of the elegance I like to have in wines from The Langhe.
Possibly this was better a few years ago with freasher fruit.

November 13, 2020 - Let it breathe for at least 1h or the best is to decant it. A typical Gaja product - nothing to complain of during the period of enjoyment. With the first glas, the wine returned steady primary (foremost red berries), secondary (slight oaky signs) and tertiary (leather, mushroom) notes on the palate. And this is exactly also the negative about it - lost complexity and becomes a bit dull.
Don't get me wrong - a great wine to enjoy for a sundowner or as a pair to a good meal (not too heavy sauces), but that's it. Price-value is okay. Clearly the vintage needs to be cleared out in the coming months.
