December 4, 2019 - Gathering with Burgundy Lovers: Served after the Mugnier and apparently with some aged, entering secondary stage and different in aromatic spectrum, with higher, firmer acidity accompany by Sous Bois, secondary fruits and iron. Pretty good mouth filling, with excellent acidity, juicy fruits, a tad dusty, resolved tannin though still have the sense of firmness (hard edge) on the palate. Secondary inner perfume. Nice length. Drinking very nicely though I prefer this to be 3-5yrs younger.

January 5, 2016 - opened this on New Years eve and it didn't stack up to my -- admittedly -- very high expectations for a bottle of Rousseau, first Rousseau Cazetier i have had and i think i'll stick to CSJ and other standards going forward, this was ever so slightly astringent, with fruit present but masked by a strange and off-putting astringency / acidity (and i am generally a lover of bright acidity in red burg)... just didn't have any magic, oh well - on to the next bottle

December 19, 2014 - Sadly my last bottle from a case bought during EP. This is not as good as the last few bottles, seems to lack a bit of intensity. Still plenty of life ahead though, good acidity and edgy but with some tannins around. Great experience consuming the case over the years, this has turned out to be better than expected. (B+)

January 4, 2014 - What a beautiful bottle of Cazetiers! The best yet from a case bought during EP, sadly only left with 2 more bottles. Floral and elegance nose. Earthy with good spices. Sweet and smooth tannins, very good balance overall, this has really improved since I brought out the case from bond warehouse 2 years ago. Honestly I have no idea how long this wine will go on. When I bought the case 18 years ago I never envision this wine would last so long and be so good. At the moment, this is drinking better than both 96' Rousseau Chambertin and Rouchottes Chambertin. Really should start rationing my Rousseau wines since I can't afford them anymore.

December 26, 2013 - Ouvert 1 heure avant dégustation, a maintenu une balance parfaite pendant 4 heures. Magnifique pinot arrivé à maturité.
