August 21, 2020 - Still very nuanced with a nice balance of fruit and earth. It is versatile and could be enjoyed on its own or pair nicely with a subtle dish.

Dark fruit aromas, nothing particularly stuck out.
Unexpected Light to Medium Light mouth feel and abrupt sweet finish. ABV was surprising, with limited to no detectable tannins.
Perhaps this should have been opened a few years ago. Received as a gift 5 or 6 years ago, and found it after moving some stuff around.
Hard to estimate what it was like upon release, probably not in my wheelhouse.
Had not turned; no foul flavors. Tired.
