  December 1, 2017 - Ravenswood has been doing Zin right for a long time, and even these entry level wines will age, if you let them - cedary, smoky, oaky and peppery kicked things off - it was definitely an interesting wine and still somewhat alive with barely perceptible dark fruits lingering in the background, it was smooth and came off fairly light on the finish.

  July 12, 2015 - Excellent, 13.5% alc.
  colour: dark chocolate,
  Bouquet: raspberry. and pepper, some vanilla oak, slightly metallic character which is quite varietal
  Palate: as bouquet, 'rich, soft and savoury', quite full a bodied, smooth, soft tannins, balanced, and developed fruit, clean long finish

  November 19, 2014 - There was a fair bit of plum still involved in both the nose and taste, but there was also a whole lotta smoky and spicy notes to contend with.

  August 25, 2012 - Bought this from a wine bin. Way too late to dink this one. Took a chance. Lost. Thin. No fruit structure. Dumped it.
